Inspired Birth Class

This two-week, Inspired Birth preparation class works for first time parents or as a wonderful refresher for experienced parents expecting their next baby. Enjoy two evenings with your partner and other like-minded expectant families gaining many helpful techniques in relaxation, coping, and comfort measures. During the class you will also learn to utilize effective breathing techniques, couples communication, self-hypnosis/guided meditation, and optimal positions to help ease your labor and birth experience. The techniques learned in this class will help give you the absolute best opportunity to achieve a natural birth.

 Excellent information for anyone striving for an inspired and satisfying birth. Geared towards our birth center and home birth families or those hospital birth families committed to a natural birth. Utilizing tried and true labor coping and breathing techniques taught by experienced Childbirth Preparation Teacher, Doula, Certified Hypnotherapist, and Student Midwife, Tracie Lynch.

Breastfeeding Support Group

The FREE group meets on the FIRST and THIRD Fridays of the month, with a certified lactation specialist to answer questions and offer support. Bring your baby and you will receive individual attention and support, free of charge.

Breastfeeding 101

This comprehensive breastfeeding class will help you get off to the best start with breastfeeding your new baby.
Partners are welcome to attend and not required to pay an additional fee. When registering, please just register yourself and know that your partner is included.

New Mom’s Group – Virtual

Every 2nd and 4th friday of the month
Our Mom’s Group has gone virtual for the time being. Connect with new and pregnant moms via zoom. Newborns through young toddlers welcome! Free and ongoing 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month. Open to community, not limited to Casa Natal families. Bring your friends, neighbors, sisters, aunts or any new moms who would enjoy a relaxed, non-judgemental mothers group. We have a loose discussion planned for each meeting. Book online and we will end the zoom link to you after booking.

Adult, Child and Infant CPR

One of the first steps in becoming empowered parents is learning how to provide CPR for the whole family. Our Family CPR class is fun and informational, and you’ll leave with a certificate valid for two years from the American Red Cross. More importantly, you’ll get hands-on instruction and practice in infant, child and adult CPR, first aid for choking, and the use of AEDs when appropriate.

Comfort Measures for Labour

Join us for this active, three hour comfort measures class. Bring your partner and your birth ball and practice positions and comfort measures to create an easier and more comfortable birth experience. This class is ideal for gaining additional information beyond your childbirth preparation class or as a refresher for seasoned parents who just want to brush up on their labor coping skills. Packed with partner support tips, this class will cover each stage of labor and dive deep into comfort measures and positions for each stage. We will end our class with some labor patterning practice so that you and your partner can try out your new skills before your birthing day. This is a hands-on class and a list of supplies to have available will be included with your registration. Welcoming a Baby During COVID-19

Natural childbirth is best welcomed by parents feeling connected, settled and grounded. This monthly group is to help you with understanding and tools to find your own natural rhythms, health and centeredness to support natural birth in these uncertain times. These same tools can help parents work together toward harmony and mutual support meeting the challenges of the first months of life with a newborn as well. Partners welcomed and encouraged. This class is a complimentary class for all Casa Natal Clients and community.
